A child is counted as half a portion. These are planning estimates, not exact needs: big eaters, many sides or a long afternoon of snacking all change the numbers.

Plan about 1 lb (450 g) of whole, bone-in turkey per person, or 1½ lb if you want leftovers. A 15 lb turkey feeds about 10 to 15 people.
A 9-inch pie gives about 8 slices. Plan one slice per adult, so 8 adults need 1 pie and 16 adults need 2. Many hosts add one extra pie so guests can try more than one kind.
About ½ lb (225 g) of raw potatoes per person when there are other sides, so 10 people need about 5 lb.
About ¾ cup of prepared stuffing per person. A standard 12 to 14 oz bag of stuffing mix usually makes roughly 8 to 10 cups; check your package.
