How do I split a Christmas budget between people?

Give each person a weight: for example 3 for partner or children, 2 for close family and 1 for friends and colleagues. Each person gets the total budget times their weight divided by the sum of all weights.

How much should I save each week for Christmas?

Subtract what you have already saved from your budget and divide by the number of weeks left until December 25. The calculator does this using today's date.
