Secret Santa Generator

Draw names for a gift exchange in seconds. Everyone gets one person, nobody gets themselves, and couples can be kept apart. Reveal matches privately by passing one phone around.

How to run a Secret Santa

• Agree a budget and date so gifts are fair and everyone knows when to swap.
• Exclude partners and housemates if they already buy for each other.
• Keep it secret: use private reveal, or have the organiser message each person their match.
• Add a wish list: ask everyone to share two or three ideas in the group chat.

FAQ

How does the Secret Santa generator work?

Enter one name per line and press Draw. Everyone is assigned exactly one person to buy for, nobody draws themselves, and any pairs you exclude never draw each other.

How do I stop couples drawing each other?

Add each pair to the exclusions box as two names separated by a comma, for example Anna, Ben. The rule works both ways.

How can everyone see their match without seeing the others?

Use private reveal mode: pass the phone around, each person taps their own name to see who they buy for, then taps Hide before passing it on.

Are the names stored or sent anywhere?

No. The draw runs entirely in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
