Your WPM follows the standard rule: 5 characters (spaces included) count as one word, and only words you typed correctly are counted. Accuracy is the share of words you typed correctly. The standard method counts every 5 characters, including spaces, as one word. WPM is the number of correctly typed characters divided by 5, divided by the minutes elapsed.
The average adult types roughly 40 words per minute. 60 to 80 WPM is good for office work, and above 100 WPM is very fast.
