Pick a duration, then click (or tap, or press space) in the box as fast as you can. The timer starts on your first click.
Choose 1, 2, 5, 10 or 30 seconds. When you make your first click the countdown begins and every click in the box is counted until time runs out. Your score is clicks divided by seconds. Your best score for each duration is saved in this browser only.
| CPS (5 s test) | Rating |

| 4 - 6 | Average |
| 6 - 8 | Good |
| 8 - 10 | Very fast |
| Over 10 | Elite, usually jitter or butterfly clicking |
These bands are rough guides based on common experience, not an official standard.
Most people click 5 to 7 times per second in a 5 second test with a normal click. Above 8 is fast, and scores of 10 or more usually need a special technique such as jitter clicking.
CPS is the number of clicks divided by the number of seconds. 40 clicks in 5 seconds is 8 CPS.
Your hand tires, so the average over 10 or 30 seconds is usually lower than a 1 or 2 second burst.
