Pomodoro Timer

Focus

25:00

Completed focus sessions: 0

Focus (min)
Short break
Long break

How it works

Work for 25 minutes, take a 5 minute break, and after every fourth focus session take a longer 15 minute break. The timer moves to the next phase on its own and sounds an alarm each time. The remaining time also shows in the browser tab title. It runs on the clock, so it stays accurate in a background tab; keep the page open until you finish.

FAQ

What is the Pomodoro technique?

A time management method from the late 1980s: pick one task, focus for one 25 minute "pomodoro", then rest briefly. The regular breaks are meant to keep attention high and make big tasks feel manageable.

Can I change the lengths?

Yes. Edit the focus, short break and long break minutes below the timer. Changes apply to the next phase or after Reset.
