Enter two dates of birth to see the exact age gap, who is older and how old each person is today.
The calculator takes the earlier birth date and counts full years up to the later one, then the full months left over, then the remaining days. Leap years are handled. The result does not depend on today's date: the gap between two birthdays never changes, only each person's current age does.
How do you calculate the age difference between two people? Subtract the earlier birth date from the later one, counting years, then months, then days. Enter both dates above and it is done for you, with the gap also in total days and weeks.
Does the age gap change over time? No. The gap is fixed. Only the ratio changes: a 5-year gap between 10 and 15 is large, between 45 and 50 it is small.
Is the data stored anywhere? No. Everything runs in your browser and the dates only go into the address if you copy the shareable link.
