About Trinket Place

Trinket Place is a small independent website with no ads, no accounts and no cookies. Everything runs in your browser and loads fast.

What is here

• Rankle: a free daily puzzle. Put five items in the right order (for example, from smallest to largest) in six guesses. A new puzzle appears every day, and you can replay past ones in the archive. Every category also has a full ranking page with the answers.
• Higher or Lower: an endless comparison game, plus a daily challenge where everyone gets the same ten questions, and one game per topic.
• Free tools: unit converters, calculators, timers and wheels.
• Countdowns, days-since counters and date calculators.

Where the facts come from

Puzzle categories and their values are hand-written reference figures (heights, populations, dates, distances and similar). If you spot a wrong or disputed value, the ranking page for that category shows every value so you can check it. Calculators use standard published formulas; they are meant for everyday estimates, not for medical, legal or financial advice.

How puzzles are chosen

The daily puzzle number counts up one per calendar day from 1 January 2026 (Rankle #1), and a new puzzle appears at midnight in your own time zone. Your streak and statistics are saved only in your own browser.
